My Internet Tech Fundamentals Certification From Brainbench

November 12, 2005

I have now completed my third certification from the online certification site Brainbench. This certification was for Internet Technology Fundamentals. It was again a more difficult test than my first certification, Mac OSX Fundamentals. I did indeed do another speed-answer of the test, but passed with a score higher than 87% of previous takers of this test! See below for an image of my Brainbench transcript and Internet Technology Fundamentals certification logo. Link: Brainbench

I just completed my second certification from the online certification site Brainbench. This certification was for Macintosh Networking. It was a more difficult test than my first certification, Mac OSX Fundamentals. Of course, I did another speed-answer of the test, but did indeed pass with a score higher than 78% of previous takers of this test. See below for an image of my Brainbench transcript and Mac Networking certification logo. Link: Brainbench

Incredible Image From Spitzer Space Telescope

November 10, 2005

An incredible new image from NASA’s Spitzer Space Telescope shows an eastern area of the W5 region. It is in the Cassiopeia constellation about 7,000 light-years away. The image below is courtesy of JPL and NASA.

My Mac OSX Certification From Brainbench

November 9, 2005

I just completed my first certification from the online certification site Brainbench. The certification was for Mac OSX Fundamentals. It was actually somewhat funny and interesting (as I have been a Mac consultant for a long time). There were 40 questions on the test and you have 3 minutes to answer each one (after 180 seconds that particular question is scored as incorrect). I did not look at any test previews or do any test-prep of any kind. I just did a blind speed-answer of the test and it took me 22 minutes. Although I certainly passed with a “Master’s? certification level I actually missed 5 questions (my, my, I guess I am slipping!). I have posted my certification transcript link to the right and also below are a certification image and an official Brainbench supplied certification logo (woo-hoo!).Link: Brainbench
